Pricing that holds still
Seeing the gap is free. Acting on it is paid.
The free Mirror shows what Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok and Criteo claim next to what your Shopify orders recorded, forever, for any store size and any amount of traffic.
Paid plans deliver verified purchases to your connected destinations among Google Ads, Meta, Klaviyo, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok, Google Analytics 4, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit and OpenAI Ads, within your plan's simultaneous-delivery limit (2 destinations at once on Starter, 3 on Truth, 4 on Truth+, unlimited on Scale and Scale+, as the table below prints), with full reporting and history, at one flat price, billed monthly or annually with two months free. Every paid plan delivers to Google Ads, Meta, Klaviyo, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok, Google Analytics 4, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit and OpenAI Ads; the limit is how many of them a store delivers to at the same time. TikTok delivery uses TikTok Events API for server-side purchases; spend and reporting reads use the connected TikTok account where supported. Your plan is the one that covers your store's trailing 30-day sales band and its printed pageview allowance. Your store's first paid plan comes with a 21-day free trial. If your sales already put you in a paid band, it starts when you install; on the free Mirror, it starts when you are first offered a paid plan. Shopify's approval screen shows the trial before you agree. The trial is once per store.
No overage fees, ever, and your bill only ever changes when you approve it.
Free shows the truth. Paid acts on it.

The Mirror: $0, forever
A read-only scorecard: what Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok and Criteo claim they drove, next to what your Shopify orders recorded, and the gap between them. "Google claims 214 sales; your store recorded 261. 47 sales are missing from its report." Those numbers are illustrative; your gap is whatever your orders say it is. On the free plan HonestTag never writes anything to any ad platform.

The free trial
Your first paid plan's trial is 21 days of the full product: first-click new-customer attribution with order proof, delivery to your connected destinations among Google Ads, Meta, Klaviyo, Microsoft Advertising, TikTok, Google Analytics 4, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit and OpenAI Ads within your plan's simultaneous-delivery limit, refund adjustments in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, refund events to Klaviyo and Google Analytics 4, and full reporting. If delivery starts late, we may extend the trial so you get 7 days of live delivery data, up to 35 days total. We never shorten an approved trial. You are not charged before the Shopify-confirmed trial ends, and canceling during the trial costs nothing. Reinstalling does not guarantee a new trial.

After the trial
Approve a plan and it simply continues. Decide not to, and after the grace period shown in the app delivery pauses and full reporting locks. The Mirror stays free, and a pause does not trigger a special purge (the ordinary retention windows in the privacy policy continue to run). The Mirror stays free at every store size. Under $5k trailing 30-day sales you stay Mirror-only until you pick a paid plan; Starter ($49) starts at $5k.
Every tier, compared
Which plan fits your store: paid plans follow your trailing 30-day sales. $5k to under $50k: Starter, $49. $50k to under $250k: Truth, $99. $250k to under $1M: Truth+, $199. $1M to under $3M: Scale, $499. $3M and up: Scale+, $999. The Mirror is free at any size.

All paid plans also include new vs returning purchase events, CSV export, and tracking alerts. Detailed operational limits, including account routing, debug logs, manual spend lines, tracking-link counts, survey blending, margin targets, alerts, and exports, live in the in-app Billing & plan ladder. Public pricing keeps the decision table to the things most merchants compare before installing.
Billing goes through Shopify. Uninstall the app and the charge stops. Monthly billing has no long-term commitment; annual billing is paid once for 365 days and is not refunded if you cancel partway through the term. No sales call. The service is governed by the Terms, and here's exactly what happens.
The Mirror is free forever at every store size, with no pageview limit. A free store past 50k pageviews in 30 days sees a suggestion to try Starter; the Mirror keeps running either way. Under $5k trailing 30-day sales: Mirror-only until you pick a paid plan. Starter ($49) starts at $5k.
Your trailing 30-day sales decide the tier, within the pageviews printed above.
There are no order caps, no overage fees, and no per-event charges on any tier. Outgrow your plan's sales band or its printed pageviews and we ask you to approve the plan that covers you. Your bill only ever changes when you approve it.
How your tier is set
- Two inputs set your tier: your trailing 30-day sales band, and your plan's printed pageview allowance.
Your store's trailing 30-day sales (the total value of orders as placed, summed over the last 30 days and updated daily) place you in a band. Later refunds or cancellations don't lower the total: the tracking work for those orders was already done, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising refunds are corrected on those platforms, Klaviyo and Google Analytics 4 receive a refund event, and Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit and OpenAI Ads receive no refund event, so the refund is recorded in order proof.
Pageviews are the second input: every paid plan includes its listed pageviews over the same trailing 30 days, and traffic past them asks for the plan that covers it. Page loads from browsers that identify themselves as search engine crawlers or other known bots are not counted. The free Mirror has no pageview limit. Like every plan change, nothing is charged without your approval on Shopify's billing screen.
- You approve every upgrade.
If your trailing 30-day sales cross into a higher band, or your pageviews pass your plan's printed allowance, HonestTag asks you to approve the matching plan on Shopify's own approval screen. Nothing is ever charged without that approval, and approving credits the unused days of your current plan, so you are never double-charged.
If you decide not to approve the higher plan, conversion delivery pauses after the same 5-day grace period and full reporting locks; the free Mirror stays free, your orders keep being measured, and nothing is deleted. Approve whenever you're ready and everything resumes immediately.
- Pay monthly, or pay annually and get two months free.
Every paid plan can be billed every 30 days at its monthly price, or once every 365 days at 10 times its monthly price. The plan is the same either way: the same sales band, the same pageviews, the same features and the same first-plan trial. You pick the billing when you choose a plan on your billing page, and a monthly plan can switch to annual at any time; you approve the new charge on Shopify's approval screen before anything changes.
On annual billing, a plan your sales or pageviews outgrow is offered as the higher annual plan, and Shopify prorates it against your annual charge when you approve. Moving down or switching back to monthly billing takes effect when your annual term ends. Canceling stops the next renewal and, if we can confirm when that term ends, keeps your plan on through the term you already paid for; the unused part of the term is not refunded.
- Want a bigger plan? Just pick it. You can choose any higher plan directly from your billing page, without waiting for your sales to require it. Its features turn on the moment you approve it in Shopify, and a plan you chose yourself is never moved back down automatically.
- Downgrades are yours to make, and take effect at your next billing cycle. We never move you down on our own. If your usage drops, you can switch to a lower plan yourself from your billing page, down to the lowest plan your recent usage supports (your trailing 30-day sales and your pageviews both count), and it applies from your next renewal.
- Cancel anytime. You keep what you paid for. Canceling stops the next renewal. If we can confirm when that period ends, from our records or by asking Shopify when you cancel, your plan's features keep running until the end of the current billing period, and only then does the store move to the free Mirror. If we cannot, the store moves to the free Mirror right away. The app tells you which one applies.
- Pageview allowances are enforced as printed, never as a fee.
Exceeding your plan's allowance never creates an overage charge, on any tier.
What it does is ask: HonestTag offers you the plan whose allowance covers your traffic, and, exactly as with a sales-band change, if you decide not to approve it, conversion delivery pauses after the same 5-day grace period and full reporting locks. Your orders keep being measured, the free Mirror stays free, nothing is deleted, and your price never changes without your approval. Approve whenever you're ready and everything resumes immediately.
The trial, and what happens after
- Approve up front, pay after the trial. If your store's sales already put it in a paid band, the trial starts when you install, and paid features are on from that day, before you approve. A store that starts on the free Mirror starts its trial when it is first offered a paid plan: when you pick one, or when its sales reach a paid band. You approve the plan on Shopify's billing screen; the standard first paid plan trial is 21 days, once per store.
- Trial ends, plan continues or pauses. If you decide not to continue, delivery keeps running for the grace period shown in the app so the destinations your plan delivers to do not lose signal without warning. After that, delivery stops and full reporting locks. The Mirror stays free, forever.
- A pause is a pause, not a special purge. A billing pause does not trigger deletion; the ordinary retention windows in the privacy policy continue to run. Approve a plan again and delivery resumes where it left off. Orders recorded while delivery was paused are then sent to each connected platform that still accepts them (not yet to Meta), using the ad click ID, the order value and its new-or-returning classification only, never an email address or phone number. An order a platform no longer accepts is listed on your Billing page as not sent, with the reason.
Reporting shows every lens
Paid reporting puts four lenses side by side (Purchase, New Customer, First-Click New Customer, and Returning Customer), each showing what HonestTag measured next to what the platform reported. HonestTag reports measurement; how you bid, and which number you optimize for, is your decision.
Early access and billing
HonestTag is in early access ahead of its Shopify App Store listing. Billing runs through Shopify's own billing system once the listing is live. You approve the charge inside Shopify, and uninstalling ends it.
Switching from another tracker? You do not have to. Run HonestTag alongside your current tool and compare. We never ask you to uninstall anything.
