System status
Four things have to be working for HonestTag to be worth paying for. This page says whether they are. It is written by hand rather than by a machine grading itself, and when something breaks, this page says so in plain words, the same fail-loud rule the product runs on.

How incidents get posted here
If one of those four stops working, we post it here as soon as we know, before we know the cause, not after. An entry names the component, the date and time it started, who it affected, and what we are doing about it. When it is over, the same entry says what actually happened and what stops it happening again.
Two things we will not do: describe a broken component as degraded when it is down, and quietly delete an entry once it is resolved. Every incident gets a dated entry on this page, and it stays there after it is resolved. A tracker whose whole pitch is that nothing silently disappears does not get to make its own outages disappear.
What this page is not
It is updated by hand, so it can lag a real problem by minutes. There is no automated uptime feed, no subscribe button, and no uptime percentage. We are not going to publish a number we have not measured properly. If your tracking looks wrong and this page still says everything is fine, believe your own store and write in; the page is the summary, not the source of truth.
The app also flags problems on its own. When a connection needs re-authorizing or deliveries start failing, HonestTag shows a banner in the app that names the problem in plain words and links to the fix. You should not have to check a status page to find out that your own account needs attention.
