HonestTag integrations
By the HonestTag team ยท Published October 16, 2026
HonestTag connects your Shopify store to the ad and marketing platforms below. Each connector is set up on its own card on the Setup page of the HonestTag app. Delivery sends your verified purchases from HonestTag's server and is a paid-plan feature; the free Mirror plan never delivers purchases. How every destination is sent, hashed and consent-checked is on the server-side delivery page.
Ad platforms
- OpenAI Ads (ChatGPT ads). Purchases through OpenAI's Conversions API from a Pixel ID and Conversions API key; spend reads and the four HonestTag goals with an optional Ads API key.
- Google Ads. Purchases through Google's Data Manager API into HonestTag's own conversion actions, unless you choose one existing action to send purchases into; refunds as conversion adjustments.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Purchases sent to Meta; spend and Meta-reported purchases read back.
- TikTok. Purchases through TikTok Events API to your pixel (TikTok's standard Purchase event only when you choose HonestTag as the purchase source); spend reads with the TikTok sign-in.
- Microsoft Advertising. Purchases sent to Microsoft Advertising; refunds as conversion adjustments.
- Pinterest. Purchases as checkout events through the Pinterest Conversions API.
- Snapchat. Purchases as PURCHASE events through Snap's Conversions API.
- Reddit. Purchases as PURCHASE events through Reddit's Conversions API.
- Criteo. Read only: cost, clicks, displays, and the sales and revenue Criteo attributes to its ads. Nothing about your orders is sent to Criteo.
Analytics and email
- Google Analytics 4. Purchases and refunds through the Measurement Protocol to your web data stream.
- Klaviyo. Placed Order events to your Klaviyo account, and Refunded Order events for orders that carry a HonestTag visitor ID.
Before you connect
- Setup and billing: what HonestTag sets up for you and what you connect yourself.
- The four purchase goals: All Purchases, New Customer, Returning Customer and First-Click New Customer, and which one to bid on.
- Duplicate purchase events: keep one purchase source per platform.
- Switching from another tracking app.
